Give each incident its own factual outline
Use the dates and places shown in the papers, marking uncertainty or disagreement. Describe what you personally remember for each event. Avoid a combined narrative that makes it unclear which alleged contact, object or injury belongs to which incident.
Keep the relevant evidence with its incident
Identify the recording, message or account relating to each event and preserve the originals. If a source’s date is uncertain, say so. Do not assume a photograph of one object describes what was present at a later encounter or that similar wording means identical conduct.
Match the actual counts without choosing the legal outcome
Keep weapon-assault, separate possession and injury allegations distinct where shown. Counsel can assess the underlying assault and object’s alleged role together. A repeated allegation or everyday object description does not decide the legal questions, and current contact restrictions still apply.
Understand the legal questions before choosing a response
An ordinary object can raise a weapon allegation because of its alleged use or intended use. The underlying assault and the weapon-related element need assessment together. Carrying or using an object during an assault is a different question from a separate possession count, and an injury allegation may raise another branch of the provision. Work from the actual counts and preserve the full incident record.

Common questions
Should I combine similar incidents into one summary?
Keep each incident separately dated and linked to its sources. Similarity may be relevant, but a combined account can obscure which facts support each count.
What if I cannot tell which object a count concerns?
Identify the wording and the uncertainty for counsel. Preserve the available descriptions without assigning an object or legal category by guesswork.
Can an ordinary object be relevant to a weapon-assault charge?
Yes. Its alleged use or intended use may matter. Counsel needs the actual count, object description and full circumstances; the item’s everyday name alone does not settle the allegation.
Is a weapon-possession charge the same as assault with a weapon?
No. They raise different legal questions. Keep the wording of each count and identify which conduct and evidence are said to support it.
